Takeoff to tailgate: Delta adds flights for Pro Football’s biggest matchups

Delta is gearing up for game day this fall with new flights and increased service to some of the biggest and most anticipated pro football matchups of the 2025 season. Whether you are flying to cheer on your team or just soaking in the electric atmosphere of game day, Delta has you covered this season. 

Examples of some of the big games that will have increased flights are Detroit at Kansas City, New England at New Orleans, Detroit at Philadelphia and many more. 

Key details include: 

• 37 new flights to increase nonstop options between key cities. 

• 12 existing flights receiving larger aircraft to boost capacity and increase seat availability. 

• These added and expanded flight options are in addition to Delta’s regularly scheduled operation that is well equipped to get customers to key rivalries, match ups and other big games with either a direct flight or with just one layover. 

“From kickoff to the final down, we’re making it easier than ever to get in on the action – with new, nonstop routes and extra capacity for key games in cities like Berlin, Detroit, Kansas City, Philadelphia and more,” said Amy Martin – Vice President North America Network Planning. “We know our customers love their teams, so we have timed these flights to make it faster and easier to get them to the games that matter most.” 

Flights will be operated as both Delta and Delta Connection flights, all equipped with Delta First, Delta Comfort and Delta Main, along with the Delta Sync seatback experience.

Flying Atlanta fans direct to Berlin 

In addition, Delta is giving Atlanta fans the unique experience to head to Berlin, Germany directly from Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International to cheer on the Atlanta Falcons against Indianapolis taking place on November 9. Delta is adding two non-stop flights on November 5 and 6, with two return options to Atlanta departing on November 10 and 11.
